Carefully selected Madake bamboo poles (Phyllostachys bambusoides) for professional shakuhachi making, Xiao flutes, Japanese bamboo flutes, and other traditional wind instruments.
Made from mature 4–5 year old root-end Madake bamboo, each pole is heat-treated, hand-straightened, root-shaped, and naturally seasoned for 3+ years for improved stability.
