Originating from the deep mountains of Southern China, Golden Silk Nanmu, botanically known as Phoebe zhennan, is a rare and treasured wood valued for refined woodworking, artisan craftsmanship, and collector-grade creations.
It is admired for its warm golden tone, silk-like shimmering fibers, and graceful water-ripple grain. Each piece carries its own natural depth, movement, and character, with colors ranging from soft golden yellow to rich amber gold.
The golden color is the natural beauty of the wood itself. Under sunlight or natural light, the golden fibers and grain become especially vivid. Some ordinary Golden Silk Nanmu pieces may reveal a brighter golden tone when lightly moistened with clean water. Many premium pieces are already protected with a special clear finish, which can preserve the surface for many years or even decades, so additional varnish or waxing is usually not necessary.

Care Instructions:
Golden Silk Nanmu has a delicate surface. Please avoid scratching it with fingernails, sharp objects, or heavy items. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight, high heat, excessive dryness, and damp environments. Store it indoors in a well-ventilated space with stable humidity. For cleaning, gently wipe with clean water and a soft, non-fading cloth. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners.
